As the Online Content Editor at Stylistpick.com I was responsible for:
- Managing the overall content strategy across Stylistpick.com and producing SEO-friendly copy across the website.
- Liaising with more than 30 fashion brands to ensure their branding, online merchandising and product range is tailored towards the Stylistpick customer.
- Briefing graphic designers and creating unique content across email marketing and social media featuring promotional, editorial and trend focused messaging to a database of one million subscribers.
- Editing and proofreading all content to an excellent standard prior to publication.
- Overseeing community management across the brands social media channels to ensure that content is appropriate, engaging and earns customer advocacy.
- Responsible for exploring new ways to maximise social reach via competitions, paid advertising and blogger/influencer collaborations.
- Working with the PR and marketing team to edit and sign off all copy, ensuring that all press releases, editorial and advertorial copy is aligned with all other website content.
- Managing the content calendar and leading a weekly planning meeting to discuss any key dates, themes, blog and social ideas and other ways to increase customer loyalty.
- Responsible for the overall maintenance of Stylistpick.com, ensuring that all elements of the website are consistent, responsive (on mobile, tablet and desktop) and fully functional, guaranteeing the best possible customer experience.
- Managing any ad hoc projects and building positive relationships with external partners including suppliers, brands and the media.
- Responsible for organising the main campaign fashion shoots and liaising with models, photographers, hairstylists, make up artists and other creatives.
